week 13/52 - discover feeling.
To find a beautiful water body between barren lands with my best friend was really a discovery for us. Oh, how much I wanted to live there forever! Creating photographs like these have started to make me feel as if i’m coloring a children’s outline book haha! but this is nevertheless, my favorite way to convey how I felt at that time, or at least it’s how I want to feel all the time.
Morning may birds! Someone asked to see the pictures I recently clicked for my facebook upload, a little something to express that it’s the school-free month of summer holidays!

Don’t be sad, little dreamer.
I was watching a documentary on Dancing Bears (about them HERE). It really saddened me, especially because bears happen to be my favorite animals. Fixing a bear from stock photographs was not easy, must work more on the superimposition. I have used photography here to express my emotions. Infact, this is probably the first time I could actually represent what I feel. Let’s consider this as progress!

The Incomplete Painting,
as i whiled away time drawing a rough sketch of this photograph in psychology class today, i was reminded of a true artist, who once told me that a painting can never be finished. i promised myself that i would avoid doing anything arty farty today but when i merged the clouds stolen from the lovely April skies with a self portraiture, it felt complete even though this piece seems so…unfinished.
Week 10/52,
Your body is a canvas, little bird.
I could easily say that clouds are my best-est friends. I often find myself admiring them in the middle of no where, they are so common yet so unbelievable. Here, they led me to combining the cultivation of the portrait with a very intimate and vibrant observation of nature.

What Holds You Down,
this week i had inspiration gushing through and through my blood but i was interrupted nearly at every step. Inside, it felt like - ‘im ready to fly and reach’ but there was always something holding me to the ground. despite that, i do have memories to take from this week for times well spent with my friends! :)

An Angel of a Butterfly,

Watch The Girl,
watching the girl breathe into the mic, sucking her air looking out of sight. this is the thrill, the joy of kill. shake her hips, nod her head, she is at it again. rubbing everything to find her spot. her place in here, this wild urban zoo. a sidewalk jungle, a big bugaboo. stomping loud feet, dancing on the floor to the banging beat. i hear a noise..
and it is going to set me free.



What Lurks Underneath,
What lurks underneath is not a pretty picture, a soul so twisted, tormented through the years that it resembles not the carcass that is its frame. So when met, no one knows. Until it is too late and they realize their mistake. As the demon sucks them down, it does not hesitate.
This picture was inspired by the poem I stumbled upon online, it didn’t mention the poet but whoever it is, thank you :) Bullied my best friend for doing silly things for me, like always. Trust me, she didn’t like the idea of posing in the middle of the road with cars coming every now and then. So once again, thank you Sunetra Ghose for being a heck of a model :)
